Caught the last few Chum Salmon heading up a stream from Open Bay on Quadra Island yesterday. Nice small stream so I was able to get close to several and get some good pictures. It was a bit smelly with all the dying fish but nonetheless a great afternoon.

Well a good weekend of diving and photography ends. Spent all afternoon on Saturday on Quadra Island in a beautiful stream taking pictures of emerald green water cascading over waterfalls and amoung rocks and logs. Ended the day with some sunset pictures at the Tyee Spit.
Today I did a dive with the Campbell River Tiderippers dive club. Great drift dive along Whiskey Point on Quadra Island. Lots of great colourful rock walls. Conditions were almost perfect.

Well here goes......... This is my first post as a blogger. I may as well start with a highlight.  Last month I submitted a photo to National Geographic of a cloud of tadpoles swimming through a lily pond. They liked it and put it on their website. It has been quite popular and generated lots of queries, traffic to my website, and a couple sales. Hopefully it will be in the actual magazine at some point too.
